I am originally from Atlanta, Ga, married to my love, Quinton, and I am an entrepreneur who has built businesses from concept to turn key. I have my BA from Oakwood University in Huntsville, AL and I recently received my Master’s in Legal Studies from American University/Washington College of Law. After a 10 year career in Corporate America, homeschooling our boys for five years, and managing scholarly athletes, and a very busy husband, I decided it was time to pour back into my dreams.
My love for all things beautiful, including makeup, art, books, clothes; were shaped by growing up with four older sisters whose personal mission was to make sure their baby sister's eyebrows were perfect. Therefore, I found people asking me in college if I could do their eyebrows like mine. So, I created a small business in college and monetized my passion by perfecting eyebrows for other people and helping them look and feel their best.
Little did I know this venture would come full circle. I have found another passion for empowering women and people of all walks of life. I am proud to say, I am now a permanent makeup artist at Serenity Spa in downtown Asheville and owner of Beautifully You by Kristea.
I am a firm believer, if you feel good, looking good comes easy and I love the quote, "The Most Beautiful Thing a Woman/Man can wear is confidence".
